My project is to benefit the San Luis Valley Animal Welfare Society. Every week, this organization drives dogs up from the San Luis Valley, Colorado in a three hour trip to Colorado Springs, where they have the opportunity to find better homes.
The goals of my project are to assist the shelter in some capacity in their ongoing struggle to find homes for these animals. $400 would spay 5 dogs or neuter 6, buy rawhide chews for 4 months or gas for 4 trips to adoption day to transport dogs to responsible, loving homes.
