This project is intended to fund the education of students who are unable to do so on their own. Through the website Kiva, I, along with the Cornell student body, will select several individuals and families living in impoverished countries or communities and send micro loans in order to fund their education. Kiva has a 98% repayment rate, rendering this project virtually continuous, and allowing for aide to be given repeatedly. As a Cornell student, I realize the value in attaining an education and the possibilities afforded to those who have one.
