Knit With Care is dedicated to hosting knitting and crocheting workshops as well as collaborative projects to help improve mental health on campus and in the Ithaca community. Creating art for pleasure can be a great stress reliever and encourage a productive method of dispelling anxiety. In addition, we would like to travel to different organizations around Ithaca, such as retirement communities and hospitals, to interact with other knitters and crocheters and promote our mission. We also hope that these events will improve bonds between students and foster more interactions between the Cornell and Tompkins County communities.
