The project I am creating is a photography program, recently named Cameradery, for people with cognitive disabilities in the Tompkins County community. The purpose is to increase self esteem and introduce the photographic arts to people with cognitive abilities, while simultaneously increasing awareness of this community to those without cognitive disabilities. This program partners with the Ithaca Youth Bureau, as well as the BOCES program at the Cornell Engaged Hub.
