Mayor Potencial is a non-profit organization that seeks to improve healthcare, education, and food security in rural Honduras. In the summer of 2018, I traveled to the village of El Rodeito, Honduras where I conducted research and taught children at the local elementary school. Children in Honduras are required by law to wear a uniform in order to attend school. However, this presents a financial burden for some families in Rodeito. I would like to contribute $400 to help these children purchase uniforms and enable them to pursue an education.
