Diversity in Venture Capital
The lack of diversity in the venture capital world not only causes investors to lose out on opportunities but also makes it extremely difficult for people of color to receive sufficient venture funding for their ideas. “Diversity in Venture Capital” will bring prominent venture capitalists of color to campus to speak about their experiences. They will share what inspired them to pursue a career in venture capital and what unique challenges they have faced in their roles. We hope to encourage students to pursue their dreams and convince them that they can be entrepreneurs or investors, regardless of their backgrounds.
