Inspired by my work this summer with the Tomkins County treatment courts, I applied to the Contribution Project with the idea of hosting a holiday dinner for families who currently have a family member participating in either the Tomkins County Felony Drug Treatment Court, Ithaca City Treatment Court, or Family Drug Treatment Court. I understand that for a lot of families, the holidays can be a difficult time. A holiday dinner hosted by the treatment teams would allow treatment court participants to have a safe, sober place to connect with family members during the holiday season.
